Make Quick & Easy Pineapple Pie

Pineapple pie can be as simple or as complicated as you want to make it.


Pineapple pie can be a delicious dessert to serve in the summertime, and a quick and easy recipe option for a potluck or family dinner. The ingredients you need are likely products that are already in your pantry, making pineapple pie also low cost. There are a few variations for toppings you can add to the recipe to customize the presentation and flavor. Add this to my Recipe Box.


Instructions


Quick Graham Cracker Crust


1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.


2. Mix together the granulated sugar, graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in the small mixing bowl until the crumbs are thoroughly moistened.


3. Pour the graham cracker mixture into the pie pan, and pat down evenly along the sides and bottom of the pie pan.


4. Bake the crust for four to five minutes, or until the crumbs have browned lightly.


5. Remove the crust from the oven and set aside to cool.


Easy Pineapple Pie


6. Open the can of pineapple, and add the juice and fruit to the large mixing bowl.


7. Add the pudding mix and sour cream in the mixing bowl. Mix the ingredients together thoroughly with your mixing spoon.


8. Pour the pineapple mixture into the pie crust. Use your mixing spoon to smooth the mixture until it is flat.


9. Use your mixing spoon to scoop whipped topping on top of the pineapple mixture. Smooth this evenly. Top with maraschino cherries.


10. Place the pie in the refrigerator for two hours to chill.
