Throw An Inexpensive Kid'S Birthday Party

Celebrating a birthday is a special day for any youngster. But it can bring on a panic attack for all parents involved, as they fret over whether or not the theme of the party is overdone. With the current economic climate, we cannot simply throw our money around and correct this mistake. Don't worry, you can throw an inexpensive kid's birthday party and still expect your guest to have a good time. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Let's mess this party up. Kids of all ages love a good old-fashioned food fight, where they can fling a plate of food at their friends without any consequence. Remind your guests to wear clothes that they don't mind getting a "little" dirty. And if you're feeling bad about wasting food, then use the remnants as compost in your garden.

2. Let's jam! If you have a roomful of musical instruments that are collecting dust, then clean them off and set them up in the living room. An afternoon jam session by your guests could turn into a day of beautiful music. And as a parting gift, each youngster receives a party mix CD of their efforts.

3. It's time for arts and crafts. Kids love to build or create things from scratch. If you supply the construction paper, scissors and glue, you can sit back and watch a picture frame or keepsake charm-box being made right before your eyes.

4. Let's play a game. If you're nervous about how you're going to entertain a group of kids, then break out the classic party games. Schedule a good game of hide-and-seek, tag or Simon Says for your guests. If the kids are into playing sports, then rent time at a local park's ball field for a friendly game of baseball or flag football.
