Ideas For My Daughter'S 18th Birthday

Birthday party decorations

It's an incredible milestone when your daughter turns 18. It can also be quite sad and overwhelming. The fun part is planning the celebration for your daughter's 18th birthday. There are a plethora of fun things to do at an 18th birthday party. It will depend on your daughter and her interests and friends. When planning the party, keep in mind the things that she likes to do and how many people will be invited. Does this Spark an idea?

Masquerade Ball

A masquerade ball would add a bit of mystery to your daughter's 18th birthday party. This is an elegant theme, and the food and decor will need to be more upscale than that of many other types of parties for this age group. The color theme should be something along the lines of silver and black. You may also use teal tones as well. Decorate the table with nice crystal and silver accessories. Place confetti and small votive candles on tables. Of course, make sure that there are enough masquerade masks to go around. Hand them out to guests as they arrive.

Hawaiian

Choose a Hawaiian theme for your daughter's 18th birthday party. Incorporate elements of a luau and make sure that everyone has a lei. Add tiki torches around the area of the party. Also, one of the party games can be doing the limbo to Hawaiian music. Make it mandatory that everyone has to wear either a grass skirt, or a Hawaiian shirt.

Dunk Tank

A dunk tank is a fun idea for your daughter's 18th birthday party. It is suitable for just about any type of party, no matter the theme. However, it's best if the weather is not too cold. A group of young adults will have a great time trying to dunk each other. Also, family and older adults can participate. Give out prizes to people that hit the target the most times and dunk the most people.
