Cards By Hand
1. Cut card stock to the size you'd like your invitations to be. Alternately, you can use blank post cards for your invitation cards and there is no cutting necessary.
2. Decorate the card stock or one side of the postcards as you'd like. Some ideas for decorations include rubber stamps, scrapbooking stickers, lace, ribbons, buttons, beads, crystals, feathers and markers.
3. Include all of the party details in the appropriate spots. Don't forget to write in an RSVP phone number or email address so you can be contacted by guests confirming their attendance.
4. Mail the postcards as you normally would. Purchase envelopes to fit your homemade invite cards or for an extra treat hand deliver your cards. You can add a small token with the cards to make it exciting depending on the party theme. For instance, if it's a beach theme or pool party add a cheap pair of sunglasses or a sea shell tied to the invite card.
