Make books with Disney coloring pages
If your kids love Walt Disney characters like Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse, Nemo, Pinocchio or the Disney Princesses, download an assortment of Disney coloring pages and turn them into a handmade kids activity book. Make kids activity books with Disney coloring pages that help children with their coloring, recognition, reading and writing skills.
Instructions
1. Print several letter-sized Disney coloring pages and bind them together in an inexpensive report folder or with loose metal binder rings. Consider placing a piece of cardboard in the front and back so children will be able to write and color in the kids activity books in the car or on the couch, for example.
2. Choose Disney coloring pages for the kids activity books featuring characters from your child's favorite movie (like the Lion King, Peter Pan, Cars or Monsters Inc.). Look for a variety of coloring sheets including close-ups of favorite characters, Pixar and Walt Disney characters in scenes from the movies or pages that already have activities included like letter, letter or shape exercises.
3. Write instructions across the bottom of the Disney coloring pages for the kids activity books for your kids to follow. Ask them to fill portions of the coloring sheets with certain colors, circle specific objects that are hidden in the coloring pages, for example. Have older kids write a paragraph describing the action in the picture.
4. Let children write their own books with the Disney coloring pages by printing a series of images with the Walt Disney characters. Put them in a logical order within the kids activity books, then ask the kids to construct a creative story for the pictures by writing text along the bottom of each page.
