Make Reunion Announcement Invitations

Reunions are an ideal time to catch up with old friends or family members, and to strengthen both personal and business relationships. If you're helping to organize a reunion, include the right details on the invitation for participants planning to attend.

Instructions

Class Reunion Invitations

1. Choose invitation paper in your school colors.

2. Begin the invitation with a phrase that lets your classmates know how enjoyable the event will be. For instance, if you're writing invitations for a 10-year reunion, start the document with something like "Let's share a decade of memories -- and create more! It's time for our 10-year class reunion."

3. State the year of graduation and the name of the high school or college.

4. Write or type the day of the week, date and time of the reunion.

5. Write or type the reunion location name and address. Provide the entire address, including the zip code, so that guests can get accurate directions for the class reunion, even if they're coming from out of town.

6. State any charges associated with the reunion, such as tickets for meals and drinks. Write or type whether invitees can pay at the door or have to buy their tickets in advance.

7. End the invitation with your school's slogan or a line from the school song.

8. Stamp the bottom or center of the reunion invitation with an image of the school mascot.

Family Reunion Invitations

9. Start the family reunion invitation with a fun or catchy phrase like "It's time for family, food and fun!"

10. State the family name on the invitation, such as "You're invited to the Johnson Family reunion."

11. State the day of the week, date and time of the family reunion, along with the complete address where it will take place.

12. Add any other information you want your family members to know. For instance, state whether family members can bring friends to the reunion or if hotel accommodations are provided.

13. Add an RSVP -- a phone number or email address of the family member in charge of the guest list. Stamp the bottom or center of the invitation with a monogram of the family name initial or an image of the family crest or seal.
