Word A Tropical Wedding Invitation

A tropical wedding is complete with tropical-themed invitations and accents.

Planning a tropical-themed wedding gives you the ability to get creative with every aspect of it. From the decorations, music and food, to the invitations you send, your tropical wedding will be one to remember. Knowing word your tropical wedding invitations in witty ways that fit the theme helps you create a more authentic feel to your theme wedding. Whether you're wedding on an exotic island or lakeside in a faux luau, the details are what make an ideal themed wedding.

Instructions

1. Select stationary that matches your tropical theme. For instance, rugged hemp paper is a natural color and has a texture that gives an exotic feel. This paper can be obtained from craft and hobby supply stores with other materials needed for creating wedding invitations.

2. Write a greeting in your best handwriting along the left, top side of the paper indented inward by two inches. Greeting examples for a tropical wedding include the words "Aloha" and "Aloha mai e," which are standard greetings in Hawaii, a popular inspiration for tropical-themed events.

3. Start a new line directly beneath your greeting without an indention. Brainstorm a catchy opening that steps outside the box as opposed to the standard, "you are cordially invited," template. For example you can write the following:

"John and Sue welcome you to a sea-swept and refreshing island union."

4. Skip a line after the opening and write the location in which the tropical-themed wedding will take place. Get creative in how you explain it without being cryptic. Write the location's physical address for clarity, but describe the tropical environment briefly beneath it. For example:

"The event will be held beneath rustling palm trees amidst a breezy island backdrop."

5. Write the date of the event on the line below the location.

6. Finish the invitation by adding a parting line. You can highlight some of the tropical-themed environment that awaits your guests, or you can simply leave the invitation as is.

7. Fold the paper invitation and stuff it into the envelope you have chosen. An envelope that matches the stationary theme is ideal.

8. Turn the envelop so that the opening is facing you, and melt a dime-sized amount of sealing wax over the flap enclosure.

9. Let the wax air-dry for 5 minutes.

10. Stamp the cooling wax with the wax stamp of your choice. Tropical-themed stamp designs, such as pikake flowers and sand dollars, can be used.
