use your Smith-Corona Galaxie typewriter
The Smith-Corona Galaxie model typewriters were sold in the 1970s and became known for some interesting features such as the "unjamming" key and the "Change-a-Type" keys. The former was a button that helped the user to unjam type bars when they got jammed together in the typing mechanism, while the latter was a set of interchangeable keys and type bars that allowed for special characters that were sold in sets of four. Characters included male and female symbols, Yin and Yang symbols and even happy and sad faces.

4. Slide the ribbon color selector bar to the right of the keyboard to the desired color of type: black, red or white.
5. Use the touch selector indicator located to the right of the keyboard to choose the level of force needed to strike the typewriter keys: light, medium or heavy.
