Kauai is one of the most breathtaking places in the world. With sparkling beaches, soft sands and a lush verdant landscape, Kauai is a wondrous tropical paradise which so much to offer. From outdoor activities to scenic views, there's always something to discover on this island. The Garden Island still boasts a predominantly natural environment and is often considered quiet escape from other more developed Hawaiian islands, such as Oahu or Maui. If you're looking for paradise, then look no further than Kauai.

1. Arrive to Kauai by air or a Hawaiian cruise. The best time to visit Hawaii is during off season when the best rates are available. The best deals are during mid-April to mid-June or September to mid December. These seasons have the least tourists and also have the best weather.


2. Visit the picturesque parks and beaches. Scenic natural views can be found everywhere in Kauai. That's why movies, like "Jurassic Park" are filmed in Kauai. There are numerous options when it comes to parks or beaches. You can visit the North Shore and see a breathtaking view of Hanalei Bay from a cliff or visit the South Shore and dig your feet in the fine white sands at Poipu Beach Park.


3. Enjoy numerous outdoor activities and recreation. You can play golf, go horseback riding, fishing, hiking, windsurfing, scuba diving, surfing or even hiking.


4. Visit various sites and attractions. Go to the Coconut Coast and try to see the "Sleeping Giant" in Nounou Mountain. Or take a ride on a tourist boat and visit the picturesque Fern Grotto with the sounds of Hawaiian music softly playing in the background.


5. Enjoy the local culture. Visit the Kauai museum to learn a little bit of history. Visit other historical spots, like the Polihale Heiau, a sacred site where the souls of the departed dead venture into the sunset.
