Renew Vows In Mexico

Renew Vows in Mexico

Renewing your vows can be as important of a day as your wedding day. Why not choose a foreign location such as Mexico to have this wonderful event? Mexico is one of the most beautiful places with pristine beaches and you can have the most beautiful ceremony there with memories you’ll never forget. Having your vows renewed in Mexico might seem like something that isn’t possible or extremely difficult but with some knowledge and planning, you can have your ceremony in this breathtaking country.

Instructions

1. Decide which city you want to renew your vows in. There are many resorts in Mexico that offer vow renewal packages. Which city you choose is an individual choice that may be decided upon the fact that you’ve been there before or that you have never been at all. Many of the popular wedding vow renewal resorts packages are located in places such as Cancun, Cozumel, Playa del Carmen, Los Cabos, Nuevo Vallarta and many others such as the Mayan Riviera.

2. Decide on area. You’ll want to decide what type of area you’ll want to renew your vows at. A popular choice is the beach but you can also renew your vows at a gazebo, garden or the resort itself. Deciding upon a venue is as important as the place you chose to do the ceremony.

3. Make a budget. Renewing your vows can be as expensive as a wedding if you have the budget for it. Guests can cost extra so you’ll need to know if this is an event for you and your spouse only or if you want guests to come as well. You can make your vow renewal as extravagant or as simple as you’d like it.

4. Call a resort. Many resorts, as mentioned, offer wedding renewal packages. This takes the need of arranging it all by yourself out of the equation and will be a lot more relaxing. The resort will provide everything you need as long as you have the budget to do so. You can arrange for the type of food you want, the ceremony length, the cake, the entertainment, and even a honeymoon package. The most important thing that they provide for you is all documentation arrangements, a wedding coordinator, and a minister. Most even provide package deals that come prearranged so that you don’t even have to plan the event. These usually include a cake as well as champagne and flowers. Each resort is different so you should call around to find the best deal and best option for you and your spouse.

5. Check out reviews. It’s always good to look reviews of the resort and wedding vow renewal packages online. This way you can be sure to avoid a place that has bad reviews or check further into a place that has excellent reviews. You don’t want your vow renewal to turn into a bad experience. Reviews can be one of the best ways to prevent that from happening.

6. Make your travel plans. Unless you live in Mexico, you will obviously need to make your travel plans and arrangements. This will also include any guests that you plan to have attend. You should include the travel plans as one of the largest parts of your budget.

7. Find someone to do the ceremony. You're already married so almost anyone can perform this ceremony since no legal documents are to be signed. All resorts that have wedding packages will have an officiant that can perform your ceremony. You can get a religious entity to do your ceremony if you wish and that person can be found at the resort as part of the plan or you can use a Justice of the Peace if you are doing it on your own. The Justice of the Peace can be found by calling or stopping by the courthouse in Mexico in the city you're going to renew your vows in.
