Instructions
Cotton Candy Cupcakes
1. Drop red or blue food coloring into 2 cups of vanilla icing and stir with a spatula until a pastel pink or blue color is reached.
2. Spread 2 tablespoons of colored frosting over each vanilla cupcake.
3. Divide the cotton candy the same color as the icing into 24 equal parts, and top each cupcake with a tuft of cotton candy.
4. Press a baby-themed sugar cake decoration into the middle of the cotton candy, and serve.
Checker Sandwiches
5. Cut the crusts from the bread slices.
6. Spread 2 tablespoons of pimento cheese, egg salad or chicken salad onto each of the slices of pumpernickel bread.
7. Top each slice of pumpernickel bread with a slice of white bread.
8. Cut each sandwich into four squares.
9. Arrange the miniature sandwiches on a serving platter with the pumpernickel side up on half alternating with the white bread side facing up on the other half to resemble a checkerboard.
