Make Custom Bingo Cards

Bingo is a fun game that people of all ages can play. It is quite popular with the older crowd, and there are several venues that hold nightly bingo tournaments that many attend on a regular basis. Custom bingo cards can be a fun idea for anything from a birthday party at your house to a fundraiser or banquet event. They can be made in any shape or size and according to any theme.

Instructions

1. Choose a theme or design element you want to feature. Find photos, illustrations and other embellishments that you can use in your word-processing or illustrative program.

2. Open the program, create a new document and set the background. If you're using a photo or some other custom design for the background, make sure it's not too colorful or distracting, as you will still need to be able to see the numbers over it. If you're using colored cardstock, you might not feel any need whatsoever for a background photo or design.

3. Create a box with the box/table line tools. On top of the box, write the word "BINGO" in all capital letters. Leave an equal number of spaces between letters so they take up the entire width of the box. Below the letter "B," fill in five numbers ranging from 1 to 15. Under "I," fill in five numbers in the column ranging from 16 to 30. In the "N" column, fill in numbers 31 to 45. In the "G" column, put in numbers 46 to 60. The "O" column holds numbers from 61 to 75.

4. Add decorative design art and photos on the sides and corners of the card so it fits with your theme. If you want to make your game a really crazy and themed version of bingo, instead of using numbers, decorate the card with pictures of Halloween items like pumpkins, spiders, witches and ghosts--or the words "ghost," "witch," etc. (The person pulling the numbers will have to make custom balls or papers to pull with the coordinating items.)

5. Print out the bingo sheet. Save the file and then fill it in with new numbers, letters, names and/or pictures. Print this one out on cardstock. Save and continue until you have as many unique bingo cards as you require. Cut the edges to the appropriate size with the paper cutter and you're ready to play!
