Print Party Invitations

Printing party invitations on your home computer can substantially reduce your stationary costs. Use different font sizes and styles to highlight important information, such as the time and location of the event. Print multiple invitations on one sheet of paper to save time and eliminate waste.

Instructions

1. Decide what information to include on the invitation. List the name of the event, the location, time, date (including the year) and the address. Indicate any dress requirements for the event. Give a deadline for a response and include a phone number in case the guests have any quesions.

2. Open a word processing program and type out the information you want to include in your party invitation. Experiment with font sizes, styles and colors. The name of the event or the guest of honor should be more prominent than the other information.

3. Choose the layout for your invitation. You could center the name of the event or the name of the guest of honor in the middle of the invitation, or center it at the top and list the rest of the information below.

4. Print one invitation so you can see how much room it takes up on the paper. This will let you gauge how many party invitations you can print on one sheet.

5. Fill the printer with the paper you want to use for your party invitation. You can use traditional printing paper or purchase colored or marbled paper stock from an office supply store.
