Chess is one of the most popular strategy games of all time. Played between two opponents, the game is a battle of brains, as well as technique. 1. Select one of the three available links provided in the Resources section that will lead to online chess games. All three sites provided free games, and often offer lessons and techniques to help improve game play.
2. Click "Play" on the Yahoo website, while on the others you will click on the game board. For the Yahoo site you will need a Yahoo account (email or instant messenger) to play. If you don't have one click "Sign Up" to create one.
3. Begin play. Click and drag the piece you want to move to the desired position. If the move is not allowed, then the game will not move the piece.
4. Take out the king of the other team to win the game.
