Print Name Badges In Word

At both personal and professional gatherings, the task of memorizing multiple names and faces can seem impossible. Asking guests or colleagues to wear name badges is a simple way to negate this problem. There are many ways to make name badges, but one quick and easy way is printing Avery brand badges from Microsoft Word.

Instructions

1. Purchase Avery name badges. One option is label #8395; the back is adhesive and you are able to print out sheets of eight badges at once.

2. On avery.com, do a search for the the label you have purchased (i.e. #8395).

3. Once you have located your labels in the search results, look for and click on the "view templates" icon. This will be below the image and description of the product.

4. From the list of available templates, select one that is compatible with your labels, and click on the name to open it.

5. On the next screen, click on the "download template" button. The template will open in MS Word, and you can save it to your hard drive for future use.

6. Load the Avery labels into your printer. In MS Word, add text to each badge and then select print.
