There is a wide variety of places in Chicago that offer birthday packages for children of all ages. Many of these locales provide not only entertainment but also food and drink. American Girl Birthday Party
Chicago's American Girl Place is located downtown on North Michigan Avenue. Two all-inclusive party packages are offered: a Cafe Birthday Party for girls ages 3 and up, and a Cafe Celebration Party for girls ages 8 and up. Both packages include invitations and thank you notes, a meal, a cake with pink peppermint ice cream, a goody bag for each party guest and a gift for the birthday girl. Price is $31 per guest, plus tax and gratuity.
Additionally, party guests can visit the American Girl store. For a separate fee, girls can pose for a picture with their doll at the Photo Studio, and they can have their doll's hair restyled at the Doll Hair Salon.

Pump It Up Birthday Party
Pump It Up of Chicago is located on West Eastman. Pump It Up is an indoor playground filled with interactive inflatable play structures, on which party guests ages 2 and up can jump, slide, climb and bounce around. Private parties are either one and a half or two hours long. Packages range in price from $325 to $535 and up, depending on the number of guests, whether the party is held on a weekday or weekend, and if pizza, goody bags and helium balloons for each guest is provided.

Musical Magic Birthday Party
Musical Magic is located on West Roscoe and is designed for children from birth to age 4. Parties are customized based on children's age. Party guests can expect to sing, dance, play instruments and boogie with bubbles. The Boogyin' Birthday Bonanza is one and a half hours long and is limited to 15 children. The package costs $375 and includes full use of the studio, setup and clean up, paper goods, utensils, and Musical Magic party favors for the birthday child and each of the guests. You provide the food and beverages. Current clients receive a 20 percent discount on parties.
