Instructions For The "Limbo" Game

Unlike the classic party limbo game where players fit their bodies under a decorative stick, the downloadable XBox 360 and PS3 game "LIMBO" features a character with glowing eyeballs, black and white scenery and gruesome traps that Mario or Sonic could never handle. Because the game is a side-scroller, the controls are fairly simple but it is up to players to solve the different puzzles and escape traps before they are killed. Once you understand the basic instructions, you can explore the world of LIMBO and take the journey that so many players have conquered already.

Instructions

1. Use the analog stick to move your character around. He can only go left and right. If you hold the analog stick fully down, he will run at a faster speed.

2. Press the "A" button to jump on XBox 360. Press the "X" button to jump on the PS3. The faster you are moving, the higher he will jump. If you jump to a ledge, he will grasp the ledge and automatically climb on.

3. Press "B" on XBox 360 and press the analog stick in the opposite direction to pull an object. This includes boxes and bear traps. Replace the "B" with "O" on PS3 controllers. Let go of the action button to release the object.

4. Press the analog control into an object and press "B" or "X" to push an object. Let go of the button to stop pushing. If you walk over an object like the bear trap without pressing the action button, your character will get caught in the trap and die.

5. Look in the shadows for every hidden obstacle. Even meaningless trees could fall down and create bridges across platforms. Die if you have to, just so you can see what to avoid the next time.

6. Take your time as you get into later levels. The amount of dangers will increase and anything that is obviously a prop will probably cause death to the character.
