Inexpensive And Unique Wedding Favor Ideas

Choose inexpensive wedding favors that remind guests of the happy couple.

A wedding favor doesn't have to be extravagant or expensive. The best wedding favors combine the personalities of both people getting married, and will remind guests of the happy day they're sharing with them. Choose a small item as a memento for your guests that embodies your taste and lifestyle. Get creative and make your own unique wedding favors, or get the materials at an inexpensive craft or dollar store.

Seed Paper Cards

Purchase sheets of paper with seeds embedded inside, or create this paper on your own. Cut the paper into smaller squares and insert one into each card. Give guests a card and instruct them to plant the paper in their garden. The resulting flowers will remind them of your happy day.

Drinks on You

Create stickers with the couple's name large enough to cover the logo on a packet of cocoa mix or cappuccino mix. Insert the packets into thank you cards, or add them to inexpensive coffee mugs from the dollar store.

Bookmarks or Luggage Tags

Make bookmarks or luggage tags on your computer, detailing the couple's names and the date of the wedding. Decorate the bookmarks or tags in the same theme and color scheme as the wedding. Laminate the tags and add tassels or cording.

Candy Wrappers

Create candy wrappers on your computer to cover full-sized candy bars, fun-sized candy bars, or rolls of round candy or mints. Cut out the printed wrappers and tape them over the commercial wrappers to create wedding favors to spread over your tables.

Kisses

Purchase sheets of round white stickers. Find a round stamp with your initials and a stamp pad. Stamp your initials onto the stickers. Place a sticker on the flat bottom of a Hershey's Kiss. Place stickers on a number of kisses, then package bags of the kisses for your guests, mixing plain and decorated wrappers.
