Lady bugs are the inspiration for an adorable birthday invitation.
Simple circles of red, white, and black card stock come together to make a captivating birthday invitation in the form of a ladybug. Kids will love the interactive opening wings, and parents will find it difficult to forget the date. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions
1. Cut two three-inch diameter circles, one from the red card stock and one from the white. Cut a one-inch and several half-inch diameter circles from the black card stock.
2. Cut the red circle in half. Write the party information on the white circle, including the honoree, date and place. Align the two halves of the red circle on top of the white so they make a circle. Use the brads to attach the red circle halves to the top of the white circle. These should resemble ladybug wings that will rotate open at the brads.
3. Glue the larger black circle to the back top of the white circle, in position to be the head of your ladybug. Glue the smaller black dots on the red half circles as the ladybug's spots. Glue the google eyes to the larger black dot.
