Instructions
Torch Invitations
1. Type the party details such as date, time, location and RSVP contact in a word processing document. Center the information and use a festive font. Consider using a bright color for the font, such as dark red or royal blue. Fill your printer's paper tray with light-colored cardstock. Print the desired number of invitations.
2. Type the birthday party guest of honor's name in the same font, but larger, centered in a new word processing document. Fill your printer's paper tray with white cardstock. Print the same number of copies as invitations.
3. Draw the outline of a torch base around the party details and cut out the torch. Trace the outline of the top of the torch around the names on the white cardstock to the spot where the torch starts to narrow. Draw a slightly curved line to connect the ends and cut out the names. Draw the outline of flames on yellow and orange cardstock and cut out enough flames for all the invitations. Glue the flames to the top of the torch on the opposite side of the printed details. Line up the white cardstock with the edges of the torch and glue down to cover the base of the flames.
