Make Spongebob Centerpieces

A centerpiece is a way to decorate a table for a party.

SpongeBob cartoons are a favorite among young children. This makes planning a SpongeBob-themed birthday party a breeze. Decorations and party favors are plentiful at craft stores, party stores and on the Internet. If you would like to do something a bit different, try making your own table centerpieces that serve a dual purpose as a party gift for your guests. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Although you can choose to make each bowl different, begin by gluing, with a hot glue gun, a pineapple, a SpongeBob figure and a Patrick figure to the bottom of the inside of the rose bowl or fish bowl. Arrange them how you wish. Other options include the other characters of the cartoon series as they occur in scenes from the cartoon series, such as a Crabby Patty scene or a beach scene with seashells and a pail and shovel along with characters.

2. Add a half cup of sand to the bottom of the bowl. You can use plain sand or colored sand. Other options include pea-sized gravel and colored fish tank gravel.

3. Fill the bowl with clean water. Make a gift of the centerpiece bowl by adding a small gold fish to each bowl. Write fish care instructions on a card and use ribbon to tie it to the rim of the bowl. Each child attending the party can take home a bowl, if his parents approve.
