Make Baby Shower Diaper Cakes
If you are trying to think of a unique gift for a baby shower then consider making baby shower diaper cakes. Diaper cakes will make a unique baby shower gift and can also be used as a centerpiece for the baby shower gift table. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions
1. Gather your supplies. You will need around 50 diapers for your diaper cake. You will also need baby gifts such as bottles, pacifiers, bibs, and wash cloths. A good supply of rubber bands will also be needed.
2. Roll 17 baby diapers and use a rubber band to hold each one in a tight roll. Roll them from the front to the back. Take the cake platter and place the baby bottle in the center and align about 5 of the baby diapers around it. Place a larger rubber band around the diapers and the bottle to hold them in place.
3. Place the remaining baby diapers around the bundle you just created. Surround this newly created bundle with more baby diapers rolled in the same fashion. Instead of using rubber bands, use ribbons to make the foundation of the baby cake more appealing.
4. Create the second tier in the same manner as you created the first tier. However, use fewer diapers and only have two rings instead of three.
5. Create the third tier. The third tier will consist of 5 to 6 baby diapers rolled up tight held together with ribbons and another baby bottle. Place this third tier on top.
6. You have now created a baby diaper cake. You can now stick the other baby gift items in between the diaper rolls.
