Make Pineapple Margaritas

Throughout history, the pineapple was used as a symbol of hospitality. People would decorate their homes with images of this sweet fruit to express a sense of welcome, good cheer and friendliness. With its role in history, it seems natural to include pineapple juice in your favorite drink to welcome guests to your home. Pineapple margaritas offer a Caribbean flair that is sure to make your guests feel special. Pineapples produce a juicy, vibrant flavor that balances the tastes of sweet and tart. Instructions


1. Combine the tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice, pineapple juice and sugar in a cocktail shaker.


2. Add ice to the mixture and shake vigorously until the ingredients are blended well.


3. Use a lime wedge to moisten the rims of two margarita glasses.


4. Dip the glass rims into sugar. Make sure the rims are coated evenly to give your guests a small taste with each sip.


5. Pour the margaritas into glasses and garnish with a pineapple or lime slice. The pineapple can add a tasty treat to the beverage while the lime will add color to the appearance of the drink.
