Make your own Bingo game of chance cards.
Whether you’re custom-designing Bingo cards for a special fundraiser or just prefer to make your own designs rather than buying generic cards from the store, you can make your own Bingo game cards with just a couple of supplies from around your home or a quick trip to the craft store. Bingo, a game of chance with 72 small numbered balls, is played throughout the country with cash prizes, as a charity fundraiser or just for fun between competitive friends and families. Making your own cards may soon have you shouting your own "BINGO!" victory call.
Instructions
1. Cut and glue a piece of white copy paper to fit the cardboard. Smooth out any glue bubbles with your hand. Cover the back of the cardboard as well if you desire.
2. Place a ruler on the cardboard and, with a pencil, draw six very faint horizontal lines, going from the left edge of the card to the right, so you have seven equal sections on the card.
3. Starting with the second row, draw four vertical lines from the second row (leave the first row intact) down to the bottom of the card, creating five columns and making the familiar Bingo grid.
4. Spell out the word "BINGO" with your stencils and tape them down in place on the top, unbroken line of the card. Press and squeeze the Bingo dobber on top of each letter, depositing ink to form the letter on the card. Move to the next letter until all have been colored in. Carefully untape and remove the stencils.
5. Spell out the word "BINGO" again, but this time with one letter in each of the five boxes on the second row of the card. Tape each letter down, dab the Bingo dobber over the stencil and let dry. Move to the next letter. When all are done, peel the stencils off.
6. Distribute the Bingo numbers under their appropriate column headers, such as 1-15 under the "B." Remember they do not have to go in numerical order in the column; your column may look like 4, 15, 9, 1, 14. Tape each number down in each of the five columns.
7. Leave the very middle of the grid, the third box in the third column, without a stencil. Press your Bingo dobber down over each number stencil, depositing the colored number onto the card.
8. Pull all of the stencils and tape away from the card very carefully and put aside. When ink is dry, erase the grid lines you made with the pencil. Use the pencil to write "FREE SPACE" in the very middle box.
