Use Hibiscus Trees At An Outdoor Wedding

The potted hibiscus tree adds an exotic air to any wedding ceremony or reception. The hibiscus tree comes in many tropical colors, so it is possible to match it to most wedding-theme colors. This tree brings a lot of joy to everyone who sees it. The flowers are large yet delicate. The colors of the blooms are enchanting.

Instructions

1. Purchase at least five potted hibiscus trees in the same color or a variety of colors. Line the trees up across the back of the last row of seats for the wedding ceremony. When guests enter the area for the wedding they will see lush trees full of colorful flowers. The line of hibiscus trees makes a very beautiful entrance to the wedding ceremony.

2. Place one potted hibiscus tree on each side of the area where the couple will say their vows. As the marriage vows are taking place, guests will be able to see the beautiful hibiscus trees, which add a touch of color to the church.

3. Purchase several trees to use the blooms to make garlands. Carefully remove the blooms from the trees and use a large needle and wire thread to attach the flowers on a garland to string between posts that have been placed in the ground. The garlands of hibiscus may be used to simply add color to the area, or to highlight the section of the yard or field where the ceremony will take place.

4. Place a pedestal in the area where guests will enter the ceremony. Top it with a shallow bowl of water with hibiscus blooms floating on the water. It is nice to take pictures near the bowl so guests will have a reminder of the beautiful hibiscus trees used at the wedding ceremony.

5. Bring a bowl of loose hibiscus blooms to the wedding reception. Also provide a small bowl of bobby pins. Some guests may wish to pin a hibiscus bloom to their hair to look festive during the wedding reception.
