Make Baked Imitation Crab Croissants Like At Chinese Restaurant

Crab Rangoon is a popular appetizer that provides patrons with an Asian version of crab croissants at Chinese restaurants all over America. Some people believe this tasty morsel was created at the World's Fair in St. Louis, and some people say that it was invented by the restaurant chain named Trader Vic's. This snack is usually fried. But, to help out with your saturated fat intake, this recipe calls for the little wontons to be baked. Read on, try it out and enjoy. Add this to my Recipe Box.

Instructions

1. Finely chop your onions and crab meat.

2. Mix onions, crab meat, spices, mayonnaise and cream cheese in a bowl. Blend until consistent.

3. Spray your muffin pan with the nonstick spray. Place a wonton wrapper into each cup. Spoon in your filling mix. Fold the wonton corners over the top of the mix.

4. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
