Make Custom Water Bottle Labels

Custom Water Bottle Label

Custom water bottles make great favors for wedding receptions, baby showers, birthday parties and backyard barbecues. You can personalize the labels with party information, photos or graphics and clip art. Add this to my Recipe Box.

Instructions

1. In your graphic software program, open a new document that is 8-by-2 inches.

2. Click on the color box and select a light color.

3. Fill the background of the label with your chosen color using the paint bucket tool.

4. Open the color box again and choose a darker complementary color.

5. Select the line tool and draw a border around your label.

6. Download the photo or clip art you will use into the software. Insert the photo or clip art onto the label and place it in the location you like.

7. Add words to the label using the text tool.

8. Print the label on regular white printer paper.

9. Use a paper cutter or sharp scissors to cut out the label.

10. Place the label onto a strip of 8-by-2-inch long clear packaging tape so the label is completely covered with the tape. This will prevent the label from getting wet and ruining the design.

11. Tape the label around the water bottle and cut off any excess tape on the back of the bottle.
