Favors are an important part of any wedding, as they provide your guests with a sentimental keepsake to take home after the reception is over. Mixed CDs
Mixed CDs filled with some of the songs played at your wedding are some of the easiest and most affordable wedding favors you can make at home. Compile a playlist of songs on your computer filled with songs that will be played at your wedding, such as your processional, recessional and first-dance song. You may also choose to include some of your favorite love songs of all time. Burn the songs onto CDs and create a custom CD insert to print out for each CD case.
Homemade Chocolates
For a sweet treat that your wedding guests can savor after the wedding, make individual treat bags filled with homemade chocolates. Purchase chocolate disks in your wedding colors and chocolate molds in the shape of your choice. Some shapes you might consider using include hearts or wedding bells. Melt the chocolate disks in your microwave and pour the chocolate into the molds. Allow the chocolate to harden in the freezer before popping the candies out of the molds and sticking them into the treat bags. Be sure to store the chocolates in a cool place before giving them to your guests to prevent them from melting.
Miniature Frames
You can purchase small, wooden picture frames in bulk at most craft supply stores.
