Make Bingo Cards For School

Bingo is fun for children and adults.

Bingo is one of the first games that every young child in America is introduced to. It is hard for some to understand how 25 numbers in a five by five square can be so wildly entertaining, but when the game starts and those numbers are called, the excitement can be felt in the air. It is actually not too difficult to make your own bingo cards. Before you pull out some cash to purchase a bingo set in a local store, try this fun activity.

Instructions

Make Bingo Cards from Scratch

1. Use the ruler and marker to draw as many five inch by five inch boxes onto each poster as you can fit.

2. Cut each poster along the lines you have drawn to make many five by five cards. Place all of the cards into a stack.

3. Take each card, one by one, and draw a five by five grid of squares (each square should be about 3/4 inch on all sides) on each card. At the top of each card, write BINGO; one letter at the top of each column.

4. Fill in each box under each column with the corresponding range of numbers. This meaning that each box under B should have a number 1 through 15, I should have 16 through 30, N should have 31 through 45, G should have 46 through 60 and O should have 61 through 75. These numbers should be placed randomly on each card. Many of the numbers will and should be repeated, just as on regular Bingo cards. Also, do not forget the star on the N section of each card.

5. Follow Steps 1 and 2 from Section 1.

6. Using the Resource below or your own program, print off enough Bingo card templates to cover each poster cutout.

7. Cut out the Bingo template cards and glue one to each of the poster board cutouts.
