Stay At Disneyworld Cheap

Save a lot of money on your Disney World vacation.

A DisneyWorld vacation is the dream of thousands of families each year. Many families, however, look on the official Disney vacation site and decide that they can't afford it. It's possible, though, to enjoy a dream Disney vacation inexpensively. Research and creativity go a long way toward finding a much less expensive trip to DisneyWorld.

Instructions

1. Stay in a vacation condominium if you are able to stay an entire week. The price of a week's condo stay is often similar to three or four nights' stay in a hotel. A condo can provide much more room for a family, including multiple bathrooms and screened-in porches or decks. There will typically be a full kitchen, which can help save money on restaurant food.

2. Get a reservation at one of the suite hotels near the parks if you are staying less than a week. While suite hotels may cost a little more than regular motels in town, you have the advantage of a full kitchen. Go to the grocery store and stock up on breakfast and lunch items, keeping your restaurant funds for two or three special Disney park dinners. You can stock the entire kitchen for two days' worth of in-park meals.

3. Look for a hotel or motel about 10 or 15 miles away from DisneyWorld. Many branches of the same hotel brand will have significantly lower prices when they are away from the immediate Disney area. If you don't have a car with you, the hotel savings may be more than enough to pay for renting one. Restaurants and other amenities tend to be less expensive when you get farther away from Disney property. Save your money for Disney tickets and perhaps one special Disney dinner, and stay much cheaper a little bit out of town.

4. Stay at the Shades of Green if you or a member of your party are a member of the U.S. military. Active duty and retired military members and their guests are the only people allowed to stay in this hotel on Disney grounds. Shades is situated in the middle of a championship PGA golf course, and is decorated like a mountain lodge. The rooms are among the largest on Disney property, and the price is generally the lowest on site.
