Send Out An Evite

Plan your party with ease using Evite.


Evite makes it easy to invite people to parties or functions. It can help you organize your event by keeping track of RSVPs. Evite also lets you send out detailed information about your gathering, so your guests will know where the event is and get there. Does this Spark an idea?


Instructions


1. Go to the Evite website and set up an account.


2. Click on the button marked "Create an Invitation."


3. Fill in all the required fields. You will need to provide the name of your event and a short description of the event. You will need to provide the name of the person or people hosting the event. You will also need to provide the date and time.


4. Fill in the other information about your event. You can add information about the location of your gathering, and add a guest list. This is comprised of the names and email addresses of your guests. You can add your guests' email addresses manually, or import them from your email program by choosing "Add Manually" or "Import Contacts." If you have uploaded contacts to Evite, you can choose "Evite Contacts." You can add a message to your guests that will appear on the invitation. Include any information that you would like your guests to have that relate to your gathering in this message.


5. Manage your guest list and other options in the final step. You can click boxes beside options that allow you to see who has replied, see comments from your guests or set a maximum number of guests. You can also click boxes that allow you to set a limit on the number of people your guests can bring with them, or allow your guests to make note of any children they will be bringing to your event.


6. Choose "Save Draft," "Preview Invitation" or "Finish and Send." Save or preview your Evite if you want to see how it will look to your guests. Once you are happy with your Evite, choose "Finish and Send."
